Service Offering

Ideally, a service offering should be an approach with deliverables. It should reflect a context and process every bullet belongs to, instead of merely being a random list of things to sell.

Some of our clients engage us for every step of an experience's development. Others only require a subset of what we do. But each offering, each exercise, each deliverable is informed by having best-of-class applications that render places online where people want to be.

User Experience Definition

While successful interactive experiences can only begin with one Big Idea, they're only realized with the successful execution of a flood of innovative, informed and user-focussed Small Ideas.

For clients who come to us with Big Ideas, whether they're business or experience-driven, our first deliverable is a User Experience Definition (UXD). It's the guideline for experience development conveyed in a way that everyone--technology, marketing, operations, sales, and, most importantly, members of the intended audience, can understand.

The UXD is an artifact of a process:

  • We distill what we've learned from competitive research, stakeholder interviews, focus groups and/or tactical ethnography into a series of experience objectives which all map back to business objectives and what target audiences want and need.

  • Then we articulate a series of unifying aesthetic and transactional guidelines that unify a feature recommendations--a series of cool functions, rewarding and helpful tools, entertaining and informative and empowering features that will all craft the ultimate experience.

The UXD also includes technology platform recommendations--technologies we suggest integrating and building on top of as well as an approach to bring them together to render the proposed experience in a stable and extensible way.
