Favorite place and why: The window seat in my apartment - a great breeze and people watching on the Elmwood Strip. Or perhaps the Merlin's patio on a Saturday night with a good band and friends.

Favorite site of all time and why: That's a tough one. It's probably a tie between AppScout, Twitter, and Threadless. AppScout is immensely useful, Twitter is just crack, and Threadless is a great example of user-driven enterprise.

Favorite work of art (fine art, film, album, novel, etc.) and why:

Fine Art: Works by Fred Tomaselli. He uses paper cutouts and pharmaceuticals to create surreal collages. It's incredibly trippy and unique. The purpose of his work is to get you to experience the effect of drugs by looking at them rather than ingesting them. ( http://www.artnet.com/artist/16725/fred-tomaselli.html)

Novel: Gun with Occasional Music by Jonathan Lethem. Lethem has this amazing way with words. This is a great novel that combines 40s style crime stories with sci-fi. It's crazy and wonderful.

Biggest Musical Guilty Pleasure and Why you Love it: I don't really believe in guilty pleasures. I embrace my weird music taste and I'm not really embarrassed to have Ace of Base and 80s hair metal happily coexisting on my ipod along with the rest of my music. I listen to what sounds good to me, not what makes me cool.

Favorite thing to do that doesn't require the internet: Travelling, going on completely random adventures with my friends, taking pictures, watching too much hockey, reading.
